A Successful International Cooperation
Nick Talbot, CEO of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) congratulates HypZert on its 25th anniversary. HypZert has been an IVSC member since 2018 and is involved in the Advisory Forum and the Europe Board. Together, IVSC and HypZert stand for high standards in the valuation sector, in Germany and worldwide.
vdp property price index: Price increase for residential and office properties
The new vdp property price index shows that the German property market as a whole remains stable two years after the start of the pandemic. However, clear pandemic-induced differences can be seen in the individual property market segments.
Once again, last autumn our examinations were subject to unusual circumstances. Despite all this, many valuers once again faced up to our demanding examination. They deserve our utmost respect. Congratulations!
Dr. Jan Peter Annecke, Helaba, is the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HypZert GmbH. Annecke, Head of Real Estate Lending at Helaba, who was already appointed to the Supervisory Board of the certification body for real estate valuers in May 2019, moves up to the chair at the November meeting of the supervisory body. Nina Babic from Aareal Bank was elected as Deputy Chair. As Chief Representative Credit Management, Babic is responsible for the former Chief Lending Office of the property financier. She succeeds former Aareal board member Dagmar Knopek as the previous chairwoman of the HypZert Supervisory Board.

Sustainability criteria in real estate valuation
Sustainability and climate protection are mega-topics in real estate valuation. The building sector is responsible for over one third of greenhouse gas emissions. The European targets for saving energy and reducing climate-damaging emissions are drastic: climate neutrality is to be achieved in Germany by 2045. Keyword EU taxonomy: The Brussels regulatory framework checks any investments for their impact on the climate and aims to channel capital into sustainable investments.
In the recently published study, Daniel Börschig and Helmut Kolb, both CIS HypZert (F) and members of the HypZert Professional Group "Energy and Environment", present both the political framework and the significance of energy performance certificates, certification labels for energy efficiency as well as aspects of renewable energy supply.
